1980
T.H.A.T. INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISES LTD was founded in Athens in February 1980 as member of the MOSCHOUTIS GROUP of COMPANIES, with a history in BANKING, TRADE, INDUSTRY and SHIPPING starting back in the year 1870 in ATHENS, ISTANBUL, CAIRO, GENEVA and MANCHESTER.
The activities of T.H.A.T. at this stage were CONTAINER services in all possible fields ( Sea & Rail/Intercontainer Transports , Inland haulages ,Container - Depots/Terminals , Representation of Container Leasing Cos, Container repairs etc. and Int'l Trade
1985
The company's board decides to focus on the NVOCC business and CONSULTANCY services.
Worldwide inbound and outbound FCL and LCL services launched and a NETWORK of Agents worldwide started to be structured.
1986
T.H.A.T's PROJECT CGO Department and INT'LHOUSEHOLD GOODS REMOVALS Department were established.
1986
T.H.A.T. entered into the ROAD TRANSPORTS field in close Cooperation with K.T.HELLAS LTD / THESSALONIKI.
1998
T.H.A.T. was the first NVOCC launching regular H U B services, using the port of PIRAEUS as a HUB into the EAST MEDITERRANEAN AREA serving with weekly consolidation boxes the EASTMED Ports: ISTANBUL, IZMIR, MERSIN, BEIRUT, LIMASSOL, AQABA, ALEXANDRIA - founding together with the local agents the: EASTMED LINE (EML LTD) - and by weekly GROUPAGE TRUCK SERVICES the southern Balkans:
ALBANIA (Tirana, Durres), FYROM (Skopje) and BULGARIA (Sofia).
Many well-known International Forwarders, as EURASIA SHANGHAI, ,ECU LINE, INFORTRA, IPTS , FLEET LINES, PACIFIC STAR etc., used those services as a preparation stage before launching DIRECT services into above POD's. We are really proud having helped colleagues in their efforts to establish their Direct Boxes into various EASTMED ports and the fact, that those clients continue to use our HUB/ONCARRIAGE services for their overflows, is proving the quality of our services.
We are thanking all our clients for their faith and trust in us.
-In the same Year we established our AIRFREIGHT Department, which became the fastest developing department of the company, serving today more than 80 Agents worldwide in both, Local Air-cargo and Transit Cargo (AIR-SEA) to MERSIN, CYPRUS, SKOPJE and ALBANIA.
2000
In January 2000 T.H.A.T. is launching the first HUB/ONCARRIAGE Service into BLACK SEA ports, starting with a weekly consol box PIRAEUS - ODESSA with oncarriage possibilities to inland destinations In UKRAINE and RUSSIA.
Further own offices under construction in the C.I.S. countries in cooperation with well-established local forwarders A Team of young, REAL PROFESSIONALS, supported by a HIGHLY ADVANCED EDP/EDI Structure, is offering to our clients high quality services in Transports , Haulages And Terminals
EML ( EASTMED CONSOLIDATION LINES LIMITED / NICOSIA - CYPRUS ) has been founded as the holding and administrative Head Quarter of the EML Group of NVOCC companies in the region of EASTMED, BALKANS,BLACKSEA and CIS . The operational management of the EML Group is effected by EML-THAT in Athens Greece.
2003 THAT creates as founding partner EBB Transport Solutions LTD/ Cyprus ( Handling Agencies Global Network)
2003 EML-THAT becomes EBB Station and Member
2008 THAT creates as founding partner CHINA GLOBAL MARITIME LINE (CGML) LTD in HONG KONG
2008 Opening CHINA GLOBAL MARITIME LINE (CGML) LTD Headquarter China in Shantou/ Guangdong.
2009 EML-THAT becomes CGML GENERAL Agency for Greece and Balkans and CGML Overseas Headquarter.
2010 EML-THAT is founding member of OLC : the OVERSEAS LOGISTICS CLUB
2016 THAT becomes founding member of ISEA ( International Shipping Enterprises Alliance / China)
2017 THAT nominated ISEA Exclusive Representatives for Europe ( ISEA EUROPE)
2018 THAT enters new era in new premises under EML THAT name, specializing in SEA+ AIR LCL+FCL services
